Armstrong Fluid Technology, a quantity one innovator in the design, engineering and manufacturing of intelligent fluid-flow and control solutions, has launched a new version of its Design Envelope pump, specifically to serve in light-duty installations the place the available energy is single-phase.
Many smaller business and residential buildings use single-phase power. The typical method for these functions is often to install a low-cost, light-duty circulator. While this meets the appliance requirements, many circulators usually are not repairable, and are designed for only some years of operation.

The new Single-Phase Design Envelope pumps provide sensible and economical options for these installations and at the second are available for single section energy (200–230V) in sizes starting from zero.25 to 1.5kW.
Kevin Laidler – Sales Director, Middle East and Africa, comments: ‘These pumps are designed to ship increased reliability, which in turn helps to scale back costs. They are built to follow the design commonplace for commercial pumps, so they’re manufactured to last and can be economically repaired.’
As mechanical room piping for light-duty fluid-flow functions is usually put in vertically, the brand new single-phase pumps can be put in and operated in vertical piping.
Compared to conventional pumps that often rely on wall-mounted drives and normal induction motors, Design Envelope pumps provide savings of as much as 30% on operating prices through:
Adjustable design point and setpoint to match on-site conditions
Quadratic stress control curve for optimum efficiency in variable-speed applications
Constant move function to keep up a precise move fee in recirculation applications
As with all our Design Envelope pumps, the new single-phase pump contains built-in intelligence and connectivity to assist Active Performance Management. เครื่องมือตรวจวัดความดันเลือดเรียกว่า -based Pump Manager service allows customers to track pump standing and efficiency, and can send alerts identifying issues such as cavitation and dead-head. It additionally permits performance optimization via cloud-based analytics.
